How small are we

The other day I was driving to work admiring the look of the clouds as the sun started to fill the sky. It was one of those moments when I really wished I had my camera and was skilled enough to drive a stick shift in traffic and take a good picture at the same time. I was speaking to Kim and she said "Oh my God you should see how beautiful the sky is" we talked a little about the clouds and the sun and the effect it had and it made me feel like we were looking at the exact same sky. Even though she is in Northern VA and I am in good old NJ.

Of course since I spent the weekend with Kim I "caught" her "illness" you know the one where you say something and she immediately starts singing a song with some of the same words in it no matter how appropriate or not appropriate it is......

Somewhere Out There

written by James Horner, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight

Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

I had a great weekend at getaway and have had every intention of blogging about it sooner but work has been crazy!!! The only thing helping me keep my sanity is the Bon Jovi concert on Friday. Not sure what I am looking more forward to, the concert or keeping to spend time with Cheryl and Megan. Either way I know it is going to be a blast

Have fun at Bon Jovi! I can't wait to hear about the Getaway! :)

I love "Somewhere Out There"...of course you are too young to remember that Barb Streisand sang it.

Talk to you soon!
